“It’s very exciting for us all because we’re about to welcome some new girls into the family and see another girl take the crowd.

“Everyone is going to love the cast. Wink wink, we may or may not have a girl from House of Versace but who knows.”

Crowned at the age of 19, Krystal, now 22, is currently the youngest ever Drag Race winner.

Offering her expert advice to the next group of queens, she said: “The real race starts when the show finishes.

“It’s about what you do with it, manifest what you want and how you hold yourself, and everyone does that in a different way.

“It’s a mad ride, it’s crazy but you have to just go with it and make lemonade with lemons.”

Krystal also opened up about what it was really like working alongside drag royalty RuPaul.

She recalled: “I remember when she came up to me after my lip sync with Vanity [Milan] and she took me aside and she praised me on my lip sync and it was just a wild moment and because she didn’t have to do that.

“That was when I was like ‘This is real’ and this person sees me for how I am.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is set to return to BBC Three later this year
