Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-star sent fans into a frenzy as he shared a string of never before seen snaps behind the scenes of the show.
But he soon got himself in hot water by sharing the new shots, with some fans certain it means the US legal drama could soon be back on our screens. The show has experienced a huge resurgence of late, shooting up the Most Watched lists on Netflix and bagging billions of streams on the site.
Patrick J. Adams took to Instagram to share several snaps from his time on the programme, in which he played law school dropout Mike Ross to Meghan’s paralegal Rachel Zane. One snap in particular showed a very glam Meghan posing next to a green screen backdrop of a cityscape.

She donned a high-waisted grey pencil skirt and a loose patterned blouse, adding a pair of dark brown stiletto heels and leaving her legs totally bare as she looked down at the floor. With her brunette hair worn in a sleek style around her shoulders, Meghan looked a far cry from her days as a Royal – but still regal as ever.
In another snap, she reclined on a leather couch in the same skirt, arms akimbo as she stared into the lens. Later, Meghan hid under a transparent umbrella in the rainy city streets, grinning and giving the camera a side-eye.
Patrick wrote alongside his snaps – which have since been deleted – “This well is deeeep.” He then added: “Let’s get serious. Seriously. I miss my friends. Each and every one of them.”
But Patrick later had to go back and remove each snap from his Instagram account, issuing an apology for the “embarrassing oversight”.
He had posted the images amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, and apologised for getting “distracted” from the fight. His statement on Instagram read: “The last couple of days I foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down Suits memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight everyone in @sagafstra continues to wage in its effort to win out membership realistic 21st Century compensation and protections.
“It was an embarrassing oversight for which I’m incredibly sorry. So grateful to those who gently and swiftly course corrected me here and I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead #SAGAFTRAStrong.”
But the posts were up long enough for keen fans to speculate that it could herald a new series of the show, which officially ended in 2019.
