Big Brother is set to mess with the heads of the new batch of famous housemates.
The star-studded line-up will be chopped down quicker than usual with not one but to evictions a week, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best have confirmed.
The new series will kick off on March 4 and will be the first celebrity version the channel has aired since taking it over. Will told Daily Star and other press: “We know from chatting to housemates that have been in how the mood is effected by evictions and nominations. Eviction and nominations happening more often just ranks up the pressure and it will really mess with their heads.

“I think Big Brother doesn’t need to do much to bring out extreme reactions from celebs compared to the civilians but it doesn’t mean that Big Brother won’t do weird and wonderful things to them.” AJ and Will are yet to know the names of the housemates fans will be watching every night for the next few weeks but they’ve teased exactly what types of celebrities they’d like to watch on telly.
X Factor legend Louis Walsh, This Morning legend Fern Britton and Loose Women icon Linda Robson are just a few names rumoured to be moving into the most famous house in Britain next week as well as Dragons’ Den star LEvi Roots and Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
Speaking to Daily Star and other press, AJ said: “We are so excited. After the huge success of the civilian series, we were beyond ecstatic to hear that Celebrity Big Brother was coming back with us as host and a whole new cast of celebrities, who are those celebrities? We don’t know.
“The success of the civilian series was all down to the cast. It was so diverse and they had such different backgrounds and that is what I want applied to the celebrity version. How fun would it be to have a WWE wrester? Who knows. We actually really don’t know. At the end of the day, we’ve seen rumours as well.
“Some people I think ‘whack them in’ but I definitely want to see someone from Selling Sunset. Give me an American because they never quite full understand the concept and they never know who the UK celebs are so the two worlds colliding is always perfection. We want some A-list celebrities to go in there and say ‘Where’s the champagne?’.
Will added: “I want to have a mix of ages. I definitely want at least a couple of older people in there because it’s great seeing the difference between old school celebs and new ones. I want people who haven’t washed their own pants in 40 years. I want a musician, I want a sports person, get a royal in there and get a reality person in there because they’re part of the fabric of our current celebrity culture.”
Celebrity Big Brother starts Monday, March 4 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
