Dancing On Ice fans were “worried” their favourite celebrities wouldn’t make it to the final for the first time ever.
Masses of ITV viewers took to their keyboards to blast the programme to claim that the judges had “rigged” the votes, to ensure certain people stayed in the competition. Online users became particularly annoyed after Love Island’s Amber Davies received a perfect ten score for her flying performance.
However, when it came to her solo skate she found herself at the bottom of the pile with Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill all concluding she was the weakest.

One person penned on the platform X: “Sorry but how on earth did Amber get 4 10s all her time in the air producers are desperate for her to be in final such a fix. #DancingOnIce,” a second agreed: “Greg scored high in the solo skating so he’ll now get 41 points .. Amber got 1 she’ll now get 41 points it’s so obvious what they are doing with these scores #DancingOnIce.”
While a third chimed in with: “First time I’m worried this series for Miles so gonna vote for definite!! #dancingonice,” a fourth added: “Scores seem to be all over the place am I watching something else #dancingonice.”
Meanwhile, Sunday’s programme proved to be an epic semi-final, it was literally anyone’s guess as to who would make it through to next weeks show. Even host Holly explained she’d “never seen anything so close” in her entire history with the show.
Five celebrities all proved themselves to be worthy contenders, with Adele Roberts, Ryan Thomas, Greg Rutherford, Miles Nazaire and Amber Davies all going head-to-head. Each of them put up quite a battle and even the judges seemed to not know who was their leader in terms of ability.
Olympic athlete Greg came out on top in the solo skate feature while former Love Island star Amber Davies, bagged herself top marks for her flying performance. But everyone else also scored highly too, leaving it wide open for anyone to sail through to the final.
With every single celebrity deserving to be in the final it was always going to be hard to say goodbye to one person this evening. Sadly Adele Roberts and Amber Davies were not as successful in the public vote as their peers as they both faced the skate-off.
The judges were unanimous with the voting on who should be saved. With every single panel member agreeing Adele would put through to next week.
Their verdict did not come as a shock for TV star Amber who told the judges she “knew it was coming” and that she had felt as though she’d already been “on borrowed time”.
