With the weather cooling down, television fans are gearing up to welcome a brand new set of Celebs into the Australian jungle – but who could be in store?
Several rumours have been flying around regarding potential entries, with the usual mix of pop idols, soap starts and ex athletes being thrown into the mix. But one interesting name is disgraced dancer Giovanni Pernice who was recently embroiled in an official BBC investigation for abuse claims made by Strictly partner Amanda Abbington.
Pernice was cleared of the claims of physical aggression and threatening behaviour, however, the complaints of verbal bullying and harassment were upheld. This puts the professional dancer in an interesting position, with the Daily Star looking into who could be heading to Australia in November.

Following his exit from Strictly, ITV bosses are reportedly keen to recruit Pernice to the Jungle. The controversial figure has been outspoken on social media about his innocence, and fans believe this is a great way to see a different side to him.
Reports say his contract could contain a whopping £100,000 to entice him, according to the Mail Online. He could follow in the footsteps at previous contestant Matt Hancock, who tried to clear his reputation through various Bushtucker Trials.
I’m a Celeb wouldn’t be complete without at least one accomplished sports star, and clues this year are pointing to Tom Daley. Off the back of his fifth Olympic medal at Paris 2024 and news that he is retired, he has plenty of time to soak up the Aussie sunshine.
Adding to this, recently retired Blackpool FC manager, Mick McCarthy, is tipped to join the Jungle, according to Rayo. Another iconic star is darts legend Phil Taylor, who tipped it’s his dream to be on the show years ago.
What’s I’m a Celeb without soap stars? Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street is one frequently in the rumour mill. He was strongly suspected for 2023, but sustained a nasty ACL injury which resulted in surgery.
Similarly Love Islander Olivia Attwood dropped out of the 2022 season and hinted she could be back in future. She’s not stranger to reality TV, much like Alex Beresford, who appeared in Celebrity Race Across the World this year. He told the Mirror: “Out of all the shows I would love to do, I would love to do the jungle.”
Fellow Loose Women, Jane Moore, could be on the cards with reports strongly suggesting she’s signed up already following her divorce from Gary Farrow after 20 years of marriage. Singer Tulisa, who remained out of the spotlight for a while is reportedly attempting to revive her TV career with another show.
Harry Clark, who won the Traitors this year, told Lorraine recently he’d love to take part. Another perhaps more controversial figure, Tommy Fury, is another strongly hinted candidate. Ladbrokes said: “Reality TV chiefs will surely be queuing up to snap up Molly-Mae or Tommy following their shock split, and the odds suggest the latter could well be jungle-bound later this year.”
Danny Dyer, Denise van Outen, Will Melor, Richard Arnold, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Gadd are among the other TV giants rumoured. November is sure to release the confirmed line up.
