Liam Payne’s One Direction pal tops new rich list with staggering net worth

One of Liam Payne ‘s One Direction bandmates has been named the richest Brit under 30.

Harry Styles topped Heat’s list of richest British stars under the age of 30, with his net worth reaching a whopping £200million. He managed to nearly double that of his closest rival, Dua Lipa – who is believed to be worth around £104million.

During his time in the boyband sensation, Harry’s popularity skyrocketed and had been worth roughly £37million at the time of the band’s split in 2016. But since then, Harry has launched his solo career, as well as taking up acting roles, which have significantly boosted his bank balance.

Among the highlights of his career are three solo studio albums, Grammy Award wins and a successful career as an actor, landing roles in Don’t Worry Darling and My Policeman back in 2022. It comes as the band continues to reel from the shock loss of dear pal Liam earlier this month.

Shortly after Liam’s death in Argentina on October 16, the Watermelon Sugar singer said he was “truly devastated” at his bandmate’s sudden passing. He added: “The years we spent together will forever remain among the most cherished years of my life; I will miss him always, my lovely friend.”

Second-placed Dua is also rolling in cash after she secured a string of brand deals thanks to the success of her second album Future Nostalgia. Her subsequent tour of the album also helped to top up her bank balance and help her as she launched her latest release, Radical Optimism earlier this year.

Speaking to The Sun, showbiz agent Dermot McNamara said: “Dua and Harry continue to set the bar for British pop. But their true earnings are likely even higher, thanks to the power of their brands.”

Other famous Brits under 30 that have risen in the charts include film star Tom Holland, who finished in third place. Having placed ninth last year, his stint in Spider-Man – as well as his relationship with Zendaya – has seen his fortune rise to a huge £30.6million.

The figures were included in Heat magazine’s annual Rich List, that charts the wealth of British stars, international icons, sportspeople and even the richest pets in the world. For 2024, Taylor Swift ‘s beloved cat Olivia Benson came out on top, earning £62million, double that of actor Tom.

Team GB star and knitting fanatic Tom Daley topped the list for sportspeople from the UK, raking in an impressive £14million after his last Olympic Games in Paris. Meanwhile, reality legend Kylie Jenner came out on top of the international rankings, bringing in an eye-watering £770million for her net worth.

According to the magazine, the figures are based on estimates for earnings, adding that true figures could be even higher, depending on deals. Other stars that also featured on the Rich List included Molly-Mae Hague and Lewis Capaldi.
