MAFS UK star slams body-shaming trolls as she poses in red lace lingerie in racy snap

Married At First Sight UK star Polly Sellman clapped back at vile trolls who body-shamed her, as she proudly showed off her new figure in a sizzling mirror selfie.

Post-show, the telly beauty has been on a dramatic slimming ride, ditching two stone, and leaving her Instagram fans gobsmacked with snaps of her trimmer self.

But on October 30, Polly from Kent decided enough was enough and took to Instagram in nothing but her underwear to slam the haters. With a fiery post, she gave the trolls a piece of her mind: “I’ve had a lot of positive comments about my weight loss (and many other positives) since the show has aired.

“But my god am I absolutely horrified off the back of last night’s episode. I had absolutely nothing from the general public saying that I’m insecure with myself for w.eeks, and lo and behold, here you are making me all insecure of what I looked like.”

Polly added: “Body shaming and making someone feel insecure (no matter how they look now) who is already going through stress is one of the worst things you can do. When you body shame someone ONLINE and PUBLICLY others are listening. A friend with an eating disorder, someone struggling to lose baby weight, younger family members who have unrealistic body issues.”

“Body shaming a person in the name of advising them to be a certain way or to make fun of someone’s size, is a form of sarcasm, and mentally hurtful. I lost my weight for my own reasons and none of you know why. Body shaming leads to horrendous extremes in which I hope never happens to me because of this but I can assure you it definitely hasn’t helped with how I feel about myself even after losing so much weight. Being skinny is ok. Not being skinny is ok. Having curves are ok. Not having curves is ok. Bashing someone for their body is NOT OK.

“It is absolutely one of the most disgusting things you can do to another person. And doing it online is even worse. You should all be so ashamed of yourselves.”

“The next time someone body shames anyone, just remember you’re an AWFUL human being. So congratulations on making a young girl who’s been vulnerable and herself on tv, feel like shit all over again, so well done. Also PLEASE stop asking me how I lost the weight, this is another question I find really personal and I’m genuinely sick of saying the same thing. Set is @annsummers – thanks hubby [blue heart emoji].”
