This Morning descended into chaos during the latest episode of the ITV show.
Presenter Craig Doyle hosted a segment on beauty productions live from Battersea Power Station on Thursday (March 21) and visited the Boots store on site.
After getting his eyebrows seen to and having his “zits” treated, Craig couldn’t wait to put his face into a machine which worked out his “real age”.

However, just as viewers were about the find out the results, the camera lost signal. Craig suddenly left the screen and the show cut back to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley back in the ITV studio.
Viewers watching at home rushed to social media to point out the blunder. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “How ironic that they lost power to the Power Station.” Another added: “It’s funny. Couldn’t get a signal in an old power station.” A third joked: “The signal going in Battersea Power Station, they get a better signal when they speak to Ross in LA #ThisMorning.”
Other fans compared the segment to “an advert for Boots.” One fan moaned: “Surely this is undue prominence #offcom with 8 minute advert for Boots. There was no P in the corner for product placement #ThisMorning.” Another added: “Nice free advert for Boots there.” Someone else agreed: “Err, why are they promoting Boots so much?” Cat and Ben eventually managed to get Craig back on screen.
Elsewhere in the episode, Ben teased Cat about her potential appearance on Strictly Come Dancing. The pair kicked off the programme by chatting to CBBC star George Webster about his new book and conversation turned to his stint on the BBC show back in 2022. He got to dance with professional parter Amy Dowden for the Christmas Special and was the first celebrity with Down’s syndrome to appear on the BBC competition.
During their conversation, Cat said: “Ben is trying to get me to do Strictly” and she was on to ask George if he thought she’d “enjoy it”. George insisted that the presenter would love it and Ben went on to tease Cat that he had the Strictly casting producer on “speed dial”. Cat told George “don’t encourage him” as Ben started chanting “do it, do it” in the ITV studio.
Later in the episode of This Morning, Cat was spotted dancing. Ben said: “She’s got the moves” but she shut him down immediately saying “Not happening”.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 10am
