This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were left scrambling to pick up the pieces as one caller appeared to accidentally swear on air.
The ITV show was speaking to people with emotional reunion stories, with caller Denise phoning in to explain how she had been reunited with the son she gave up for adoption. But Denise appeared to accidentally let a muffled expletive fly when telling her story.
She said: “It was really hard, but when I was a little girl I lost my mum and I was brought up in children’s homes. So I tried to obviously bring Mark up myself [muffled]. Can you bleep that?!”

Ben quickly jumped in to explain: “No, we’re live, it’s okay!” as Denise continued: “I tried to bring him up myself but I found it was really hard. I was 17 years old with no money, and there was no support like there is now.
“So I tried to bring him up myself and then I made the decision [to give him up for adoption] and I don’t regret it. He’s had a good life and gone to private school, and I’m really proud of him.
“I’m proud to have him in our lives. And my daughter gets on really well with him, and we’ve all accepted it. It’s as though he’s never been away.” Cat and Ben were clearly getting emotional as they nodded along with Denise’s story – despite the mishap.
Over on social media, though, fans couldn’t get over the blunder, with one writing on X: “F*** I missed Denise’s swear word! My bad.” Another echoed: “”Can you bleep that?'”
“Who swore?!” someone else posted on the platform. But a fourth social media user argued: “It wasn’t a swear word, she said her son’s name, which I guess she was trying to keep anonymous.” Denise had already said her son’s name in the same conversation, however, so some confusion was warranted.
“I can’t tell if she swore or not?” another confused viewer said.
The latest chaos comes just a day after Cat Deeley was forced to apologise for making an insensitive epilepsy joke about her dancing, comparing it to “having a seizure”. With epilepsy charities slamming the remark, Cat said sorry on the show.

She said: “First of all, I just wanted to apologise to anyone who was offended yesterday when I made a lighthearted comment about my dancing style.
“It really wasn’t supposed to cause any upset to anybody, but I can see why that might have been the case. I do apologise, I’m very sorry.”
Ben added: “It would never be our intention, would it?” as Cat agreed: “It didn’t come from that place at all.” Ben was quick to change the subject afterwards, telling viewers: “Okay, let’s talk about our top stories!”
