The Fault in Our Stars was released back in 2014 and based on the novel of the same name, which was released by John Green two years prior. Shailene Woodly and Ansel Elgort star alongside Laura Dern and Willem Dafoe among other big Hollywood names.

Hazel Grace struggles with thyroid cancer which has spread to her lungs and later meets Gus, played by Elgort, as the pair attend a cancer support group. The duo later fall in love in the coming of age romance flick.

It was widely received with positive reviews and the lead actors were praised for their efforts, as well as on-screen chemistry that appeared natural to many fans. Due to this, the film achieved the number one spot across its opening weekend and grossed a whopping $307 million on a budget of just $12 million.

Fans may not know that Elgort also had a musical career and signed to Steve Angello’s label back in 2014. He performed at Electric Zoo Festival that same year, Ultra Music Festival a year later and a headline show on his 21st birthday.
