After chronicling their romance on television, Olivia Bentley and Tristan Phipps are over, the Made In Chelsea star has confirmed.
Olivia, 25, announced their split on Instagram stories, revealing the sweethearts – who feature as a couple in the latest season of MIC – ended their relationship.
She said: “Tristan and I are no longer together and haven’t been for a while.”
Asking her fans to respect her boundaries, she added: ”I would greatly appreciate if people didn’t feel the need to tell me what he’s getting up to.
“It’s none of my business but also don’t feel like I need to hear about it.
“Appreciate all the love and thank you.”
Liv and Tristan were originally good friends, but things took a romantic turn last year when they were filming in a bubble in a country manor.
They confirmed their relationship later that year, making things official in the season finale on the day of Ollie Locke’s wedding.
Sadly, the most recent season of Made In Chelsea took its toll on their relationship, with the “intense” living situation in the Cotswolds creating a strain.
The couple travelled to Suffolk to film series 21, but disappeared early in the season to get some space.
Upon their return, Liv and Tristan spoke openly about the problems in their relationship, at one point even deciding to break up during a night out.
They reunited the following day, vowing to give the relationship another shot, but the romance failed to stand the test of time.
“We have small arguments, but I think this was the first one we had surrounded by everyone,” Liv explained.
“I think what was making it worse is that, instead of talking about it with each other, we sort of drifted apart.
Speaking to Grazia, she added: “I would go and talk to my friends to try and get some sort of resolution which made it worse.”
Liv, who once appeared on Celebs Go Dating, was previously in a long-term relationship with her co-star Digby Edgley, the pair splitting in 2019.
Tristan similarly dated his co-stars, with ex-girlfriend Verity Bowditch breaking up with him during the first lockdown.
It’s not clear whether Liv and Tristan will address their split before the cameras – the new series of Made In Chelsea isn’t due to launch until this autumn.
