As they dive into the water, one male contestant can be seen landing dramatically.

Following the hefty splash, a member of the elite team of ex-Special Forces soldiers who make up the directing staff can be heard yelling: “Has he knocked himself out?”

Another member of the staff can then be seen diving into the water to retrieve the stricken celebrity, as someone calls: “Get in. Get him.”

The identity nor condition of the male celeb is not confirmed in the clip, which also teases a dramatic abseiling challenge.

As they’re tasked to scale a large drop in pairs, the celebs are pushed to their breaking points as Jason Fox warns: “You’ve got someone’s life in your hands.

“You need to be f***ing on it.”

Pete Wicks, Ashley Cain, Callum Best and AJ and Curtis Pritchard are among the male celebrities taking part in this year’s series.

Following concerns about his fitness and remorse for his party lifestyle, TOWIE starPete was removed from the process on medical grounds after breaking a rib.

His exit followed the TOWIE star, 33, being reduced to tears in the first episode after being made to fight Jennifer Ellison.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues on Sunday (September 11) on Channel 4.
