London Dungeon rips into Holly and Phil with brutal new queue jump pass

This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Scofield have faced a furious backlash from those accusing them of skipping the lying-in-state queue.

But it seems even the London Dungeon has decided to weigh in on the drama and roast the ITV hosts with a brutal new ‘Holly and Phil’ queue jump pass.

Holly and Phil sparked outrage after they were accused of hopping the queue at Westminster to see the Queen’s lying-in-state before her funeral.

This Morning later issued a statement denying that their stars skipped any queues and asserted they had obtained press accreditation to cover the event.

Holly and Phil themselves later addressed the drama on their ITV daytime show earlier this week, explaining they didn’t jump the queue and were simply there as part of the media.

However, it hasn’t stopped members of the public roasting the pair on social media, and now The London Dungeon has decided to get involved.

The hugely popular London tourist attraction have released a new ‘Holly and Phil’ pass for people who are better than “peasants” who have to queue.

The special ‘offer’, it jibes, is a perfect choice for those “too good to queue with the rest of the rabble”.

The press release read: “Visitors who ask for a ‘Holly & Phil’ when purchasing their tickets from the attraction until Friday of this week will gain queue jumping rights for the same price as a standard ticket.

“Guests will have immediate access to the next tour of the London Dungeon, jostling past those peasants who have been patiently waiting their turn.”

A spokesperson added: “The Holly and Phil pass is here for a limited time only. If you’re too good to queue with the rest of the rabble and demand swift and immediate passage into London’s horrible history, then this is right up your alley.

“Don’t be making small talk with the measly patiently waiting plebs when you could be on a one-way path to the front of the queue!”

It comes after tons of Holly and Phil memes have circulated social media, one of which was liked by Holly and Phil’s former co-star Eamonn Holmes.

Addressing the issue on This Morning, Holly said: “The rules were that we would be quickly escorted around the edges to a platform at the back.

“In contrast, those paying their respects walked along a carpeted area beside the coffin and were given time to pause.

“None of the journalists and broadcasters there took anyone’s place in the queue and no one filed past the Queen.

“She continued: ‘We, of course, respected those rules, however, we realise that it may have looked like something else and therefore totally understand the reaction. Please know that we would never jump a queue.”
