Olivia Attwood says her I'm A Celeb early exit 'doesn't make sense to her'

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Olivia Attwood has addressed speculation around her departure from the show.

The former Love Island contestant was in the jungle for just 24 hours before she was removed due to concerning medical results.

Although this has been confirmed by an ITV spokesperson and Olivia herself, many fans are still wondering why she had to leave prematurely.

Attwood took to her Instagram story to put the doubt to bed once and for all as she hosted a Q&A session on her social media.

Fans flocked at the opportunity to ask Attwood a question about her short lived time in the jungle, but she grew increasingly frustrated with the influx of comments.

She was on the show for just 24 hours

One fan simply asked the reality star why she left the show, but assured her she “didn’t have to answer if she didn’t want to”.

Olivia saw an opportunity and wrote: “I so want to leave this subject behind but there are thousands of these and I don’t want you to think I’m being rude. If you take a look, the reason is out there. I gave one interview in my words on This Morning.”

The star continued: “I know it doesn’t make sense to a lot of you but it also still doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, if that makes you feel better.”

The star was disappointed to be leaving

Another rumour that emerged after she was forced to leave the ITV show was that the Love Islander was pregnant.

This question arose and Olivia shut them down immediately: “Nope. No pregnancies. Let’s stop asking women this all the time, too.”

An inevitable query came when one keen fan asked the TV personality whether she would like to re-enter the jungle next year, to which she admitted she “would love to make it up to everyone” and cryptically wrote “never say never”.

The stern warning came after Olivia appeared on This Morning shortly after her I’m A Celeb exit and opened up about why she left.

Attwood’s reason, which she branded as “not that exciting”, was due to the fact that she had very low iron, potassium and sodium levels, along with anaemia.

She was quickly taken to A&E and wanted to return to camp, but although production were “desperate to have her back”, the medical team were more cautious about the situation.

Olivia called it “an insurance thing” and that the medics were worried if her “readings dropped again”.
