Love Island Olivia Attwood says she 'will marry' fiance this year despite 'ending' twice

Olivia Attwood has confirmed she will walk down the aisle with footballer finance Bradley Dack after their wedding was cancelled twice due to his injuries and their work schedules.

The former Love Island star, 31, who got engaged to the footballer, 29, three years ago, shared the news on her Instagram Story on Tuesday (February 7).

The TV personality revealed in an Q&A session that her special day will be this year after fans asked for more details.

Olivia, who began dating Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley before she went on the ITV2 reality show, said: “Omg this question comes up SO much. It’s THIS year, and that’s all you get for now.”

The pair met at a nightclub in the West End in 2015, and following Olivia’s appearance on the dating show the beauty got back with him before he got down on one knee in 2019.

Olivia shared snaps of the couple on a beach in Dubai after the footballer proposed, with her writing: “He must be crazy… Here’s to forever. I love you BD.”

In October 2020 she spoke of having to cancel their wedding.

She told The Sun: “It’s all been a bit of a nightmare with Covid,” adding: “I had my heart set on a wedding abroad but we have scrapped that because I can’t travel to do venue reckies.”

In October 2020 she spoke of having to cancel their wedding, telling The Sun: “It’s all been a bit of a nightmare with Covid,” adding: “I had my heart set on a wedding abroad but we have scrapped that because I can’t travel to do venue reckies.”

Their nuptials were also put on hold in 2021 due to him sustaining an injury, alongside their work commitments.

She admitted she now had concerns about booking a venue in the UK due to the number of previous wedding cancellations due to lockdowns, and due to Bradley only having a short time off during the football season.

But the star, who has also appeared on I’m A Celeb and TOWIE, previously confirmed that the couple were “strong” and that “we want to enjoy getting married” – and 2023 was the year.
