Shannen Doherty has shared a video which showed the 90210 star moments before getting a tumour removed from her head.
The actress took to social media to update her fans on her cancer journey after learning that the disease had spread to her brain.
Doherty shared a clip of herself talking to a medical professional before she eventually entered surgery to have the tumour taken out.

Shannen, who many will know from classic TV shows such as Charmed, Heathers and Our House, posted the video for her 2 million concerned followers and added a statement in the caption.
She said: “January 16, 2023. Surgery. I had a tumour in my head they wanted me to remove and also biopsy. I am clearly trying to be brave but I am petrified.”
In the video, the 90210 icon was sat in a hospital bed, wearing a gown and a cap over her hair just moments before being put to sleep.
Shannen was smiling and placed her hands on the blanket in front of her as she tried to maintain high spirits in the face of such a deadly disease.
Doherty then continued: “The fear was overwhelming to me. Scared of all possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mom and how that would impact her. Worried that I would come out of surgery not me anymore.”
Shannen previously had a CT scan done back in January which sadly showed that the star’s cancer had spread from its original site to her brain – “brain metastases”.
Doherty explained to her followers that she has already been under her first round of radiation therapy.
She received the treatment on January 12 this year and although she has a “great” team around her, the actress admitted she is fearful.
Shannen also added a gut-wrenching video of herself crying when she received the treatment in Los Angeles.
In the clip, Doherty had a blue mask placed over her face and told fans that it was part of the “process of getting fitted for the mask which you wear during radiation to your brain”.
The actress began to cry as the mask was placed on her face and pinned to a board behind her.
A clearly terrified Doherty’s tears made for upsetting viewing as the star explained: “January 12, the first round of radiation took place. My fear is obvious.”
