Britney Spears has told fans she’s “done with Botox” after slamming the anti-wrinkle procedure for “making it look like someone beat the s*** out of you”.
The pop sensation shared a video on Instagram showing off a new beauty regime she’d picked up from the brand SiO, which appears to be an alternative for injections.
In a lengthy caption, she slammed the “so called ‘best doctors'” who administer the injections, explaining she hadn’t had a good experience in the past.

She said: “For probably 10 to 15 years, I haven’t had mine done right, and what’s with the times when one eyebrow is up and one is down?
“I can’t even be seen for two weeks.”
In the video, she listed other reasons why she was quitting injections, saying that when she did it it caused her forehead to swell and make her eyes “droop over”.
The Toxic hitmaker said that “the cost” and “the needles” were other reasons why she was giving it up, also adding the chance that she could end up “looking like someone beat the s*** out of you”.

Britney finished her caption by saying: “F*** Botox, it is horrific.”
And it appears that the singer was sharing the product out of a genuine love, as there seemed to be nothing to suggest it was a sponsored post.
SiO says their patches “give your forehead a smooth, refreshed, stress-free look in just a few hours – no injectables required”.
Each patch can be used again up to 10 times, with 87% of customers, according to trials, saying they noticed wrinkles were softer after use.
However it appears the patches may be more of an investment than anti-wrinkle injections, which usually last for around three months before a top-up is needed.
Customers can buy one patch for $43.20 (£34) or have one delivered every 15 days for $30.60 (£24).
Meanwhile, in the UK, anti-wrinkle injections can cost upwards of £150 for one area on the face, and it usually lasts around three months.
However, for those not wanting to fork out £24 every few weeks, they would have to accept their mission to be wrinkle-free could be painful – or they could just age gracefully, instead.
