Jacob is shaken by an unexpected arrival in Coronation Street this week, after his mysterious dad Damon steps onto the cobbles.
Damon says he is just passing through to say hello, but a bitter Jacob sends him on his way.
Jacob’s life is set to turn upside down once more following Damon’s arrival, but he is intent on having nothing do with his mysterious dad.

As the newcomer causes tension on the cobbles, Daily Star takes a closer look inside Damon star Ciaran Griffith’s life.
Forgotten soap roles
Ciaran has stepped onto the cobbles as mysterious newcomer Damon – but did you know that this is not his first time in Weatherfield?
More than 12 years ago in 2000, he appeared in four episode of the ITV soap as Dean Sykes.
That’s not all, as he also starred as Ben McCarthy in Emmerdale in 2001, before playing Vic Sands in beloved ITV drama Heartbeat in the same year.
He has also appeared in Holby City as Jem Neil in 2007 and played Milo in two episodes of EastEnders in 2018.
Ciaran has since shared his excitement for returning to Coronation Street as Damon, saying: “I’m happy to be back in Manchester to see my family and friends after being away in Australia for the last 3 years. The city has changed so much!
“And what better way to tie it in with a stint on the Cobbles.
“I watched Corrie as a kid and it’s great to be back with some old friends both cast and crew. I’m loving having the opportunity to work with some quality Northern actors whose work I have long admired, particularly on such a complex character like Damon.”
TV police drama icon
Ciaran has been showcasing his acting talents from a young age, after landing his first role in beloved TV drama Children’s Ward when he was 13 years old.
From there it was onwards and upwards for the star, as Ciaran appeared in films and TV series including Where The Heart Is, Dead Cert, Waterloo Road and BBC drama Atlantis.
However, he best known for his role in iconic ITV police drama The Bill, where he played Gary Best for more that 163 episodes.
That’s not all, as Ciaran also starred as Micky Maguire in Channel 4 comedy Shameless between 2007 to 2012, before landing roles in This is England ’90, Cold Feet and The Bay.
Life abroad
Not much is known about Ciaran away from our TV screens, as he appears to keep his private life away from the cameras.
He also does not appear to have a social media presence, and it is not known if he is single or in a relationship.
However, it is known that the star has lived in Australia for the past three years, before making a return to the UK to appear as Damon in Coronation Street.
