'Emotional' Kym Marsh 'stressed' as she believes she 'let Graziano down' on Strictly

Body language expert Darren Stanton has spotted signs Kym Marsh felt she let her dance partner Graziano Di Prima down during their emotional routine on Strictly Come Dancing.

Last week the couple put on a spectacular performance as former Corrie star Kym dedicated her American Smooth to her late son Archie who tragically passed away following a premature birth in February 2009.

Although the couple received 31 points for their mesmerising routine and approval from the judges, Kym appeared “stressed” and apologetic for the blunders she made.

Picking up on her behaviour while speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren told Daily Star: “This is perhaps the most emotional and stressed we have seen Kym for quite some weeks.

“She is obviously starting to feel the pressure of the competition as she kept apologising for making mistakes.”

The expert also added that Kym, 46, was showing signs that she was ready to leave the competition.

He continued: “I believe she really felt this was her week to leave because she was flashing lots of sadness micro expressions and had tears in her eyes.

“She was also making gestures of placing her hand over her heart. I think she really felt she had let Graziano down.”

However although Kym has shown nerves throughout the competition, Darren believes the public are firmly behind her.

He added: “Despite her apparent nerves, the public have clearly not had enough of Kym as they voted her to stay another week.

“Kym was absolutely ecstatic by the outcome and the relief clearly showed across her face as the results were announced.”

Mother of four Kym previously expressed that she often feels like a fish out of water on Strictly as she struggles with her confidence.

But on Saturday night’s show, judge Motsi Mabuse complimented her on her routine.

She said: “The message you tried to put through, the fragility and vulnerability came through, it was so clear. It started so well, I don’t know what happened.

“There was a sudden change of energy and I don’t know why. There was a great ending and it started so wonderfully.”
