Original Little Mermaid voice star Jodi Benson looked incredible as she flaunted her ageless beauty, more than 33 years since the Disney film was released on this day (November 17, 1989).
Jodi voiced mermaid Ariel in the hit 1989 Disney film, and delighted fans earlier this year when she appeared at Comic Con Manchester on July 30 and 31, 2022.
The star looked radiant as she wore a long blue dress, complimented by waves of auburn hair and glowing skin, and flashed her gorgeous smile as she posed for photographs with fans.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Jodi shared her love for the fans who had travelled to meet her at the event, and reflected on The Little Mermaid’s legacy, saying: “It’s always wonderful to get several generations of fans, because I’ve been with the company for around 35 years I think it’s been.
“It’s fun to watch parents introduce the character to their child, and their grandchild. It’s something as a family they can all enjoy together, which is really nice.”
She added: “It’s my first time do a convention outside of the US, so just to see another fanbase and the response of the film over here. Just to get to meet all the lovely people outside of the US, it’s just really great.”
Jodi also paid a sweet tribute to Oscar-winning score writer Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, who co-wrote the star’s famous song from the film – Part Of Your World.
Describing it as one of her favourite behind the scenes moments, she said: “I think working Howard and Alan and just our cast, but recording Part Of Your World with Howard was truly a dream come true.
“He was just amazing, and I basically just imitated him. Everything that he had created with the song and the character.”
In the years since the film’s release, Jodi has provided the voice for a number of Disney characters including Barbie in Toy Story 2 and 3, as well as reprising her role as Ariel for subsequent Little Mermaid sequels and in the 2018 film Ralph Breaks The Internet.
However, she also made an unexpected cameo onscreen as receptionist Sam in the hit 2008 film Enchanted, which is soon due to be followed by sequel Disenchanted on November 18, 2022.
Recalling her time on Enchanted, Jodie gushed about co-stars Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams, describing it as a “fun, first experience.”
“That was a really fun project. It was great,” said Jodi.
“Getting to work with Patrick and Amy was amazing, and I had never done anything like that before, so it was a really fun, first experience.”
