Before showbiz correspondent Richard Arnold got the chance to dish the dirt from the Australian jungle, Andi Peters was on hand to share some news about the latest ITV competition.

However, things turned awkward very quickly as Ranvir branded Andi the “second best looking man”.

She said: “Richard’s here. We’ll be speaking to him in a moment but right next to you is the “second best looking guy on the show”.

Andi interjected: “Rude”.

At the time, Ranvir was joined by Ben, Richard, Andi and also broadcaster Sean Fletcher.

The trio of men later tried to work out who was the “ugliest” one.

Andy was cheekily called “second best looking guy on the show” by Ranvir

Ranvir later attempted to shut down the conversation and said that it was simply an “advert that went wrong”.

It comes after Ben appeared to make an I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! slip-up live on air last week.

Andi revealed on GMB that he’ll be making his way to the famous Australian jungle for journalistic purposes to report what will be taking place in the camp.

However, when Ben told ITV viewers that Andi will be making his way “into the jungle” Andi quickly piped up to correct him.

Before leaving the studio, Andi said: “Stop saying it like that Ben, I’m going to the jungle not into the jungle,” he then added “for journalistic reasons”.

“And now I’m going to breakfast, alright.”

But this wasn’t the only time Andi took a swipe at Ben on the breakfast programme.

Joking that he would take over the show alongside co-star Vick Hope, Ben chimed: “Everyday an audition, Andi.”

Andi replied: “Well, you’ve survived every audition!”

Appearing red-faced, Ben told Andi to get on with the competition as he tried to brush the awkward situation off.
