Love Island legend reveals two-year-old son’s spooky experience after visiting psychic

Love Island’s Olivia Bowen has opened up about a spiritual experience that can’t be explained.

The ITV beauty, 30, who shot to fame on the second series of the dating show, told the Daily Star about a recent encounter that involved her young son, Abel, two. Olivia opted to visit a medium after the loss of her grandad Vic earlier this year.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star as she worked with Affinity Water and said: “In the old house, we lived in a 600-year-old cottage, and I went and saw a medium. I lost my grandad two weeks before, so I guess I went to the medium for comfort.

“There was a chair by the stairs and Abel and I were walking upstairs, bear in mind that he hadn’t really said, hello to anyone and he started waving at the chair and saying, hello. He was standing saying ‘Hi and waving at what looked like nothing. But I would like to think it was my grandad.”

Olivia shares Abel with her Love Island co-star husband Alex, 33, who was shocked by the revelation and said: “You never told me that!” The pair are both currently teaming up with Affinity Water to promote their ‘Look and Listen Test’, an effective solution empowering homeowners to detect leaks early and protect their homes.

Since Love Island, the pair have gone on to build a property empire and wanted to highlight how vital this technique could be in homeowners saving their hard-earned cash. Olivia commented: ” Everyone’s always looking for little tips and tricks to save money and I think the look and listen test is a great MOT that you can do on your home to make sure that you’re getting the most out of your water and not going crazy on your water bill.

“Things like listening out for drips of running water and checking your bill for abnormalities, there are loads of little things you can do, and it is really easy. Currently leaks cost the nation around £700 million so I think we can all definitely up our game a little bit.”

James Curtis, Affinity Water explains: “At Affinity Water, we are committed to reducing leakage across our network. Over the last three years, we have reduced leaks by 18.3%, saving 34 million litres of water each day, and in the past year alone, we have fixed more than 18,000 leaks. However, we need our customers to help make a significant impact. By continuously being vigilant, and fixing leaking taps, toilets and pipes promptly at home, we can stop leaks in their tracks and conserve our precious water resources.

“This is why we are excited to re-introduce the ‘Home Leaks’ campaign, designed to educate homeowners on the key signs of leaks, and encourage everyone to join us in this important effort to save water and create a more sustainable future for everyone.”

Starting in 2025, Affinity Water’s efforts will increase with more leak-fixing, water audits for businesses, and new water-saving policies from the government to support the program. Stop leaks in their tracks with the Look and Listen Test, visit affinitywater.co.uk/homeleaks to learn more.
