The Traitors viewers couldn’t help but notice how emotional the contestants get when they lose another member of their team in the BBC game show.
In the show, contestants are ‘murdered’ or ‘banished’ from the show and therefore eliminated from the game. Fans have spotted remaining players crying over their ‘loss’ and took to Twitter to laugh at the dramatics.
One user tweeted: “Not sure why the contestants get so upset when someone leaves? They’ve only known each other a few weeks! Unless it’s manipulated off camera/behind the scenes? #TheTraitors.”

Another laughed at Kieran’s tears after Amos was ‘murdered’ via the ‘kiss of death’, writing: “Kieran putting his shades on because he’s deep in mourning #TheTraitors.”
A third added: “Also Jesus stop crying Kieran HE’S NOT ACTUALLY DEAD #TheTraitors.”
A fourth fan was seriously concerned for the contestants: “How did half of these people pass any sort of psychological evaluation? Crying, bawling, and throwing up with emotion over a game of Cluedo isn’t normal adult behaviour. #TheTraitors”
Keiran and Amos were two of the contestants who shockingly returned after seemingly being evicted from the show in the first ten minutes of the first episode.
Presenter Claudia Winkleman revealed that contestants can only be banished or murdered to leave the game, they can’t be chosen to leave by the entire group.
Amos was ‘murdered’ in Friday (16th Dec) night’s episode when traitor Amanda was instructed to kill a member of the Faithful in plain sight with the ‘kiss of death’.
After being kissed by Amanda and being told that he’d been murdered, Amos still hadn’t realised who was the traitor, after admitting he’d “kissed everyone”.
By the end of Friday night’s episode, traitors Amanda and Wilfred had chosen to ‘murder’ another member of the Faithful’s, making the group even smaller.
