Love Island USA viewers claims show is 'boring' compared to UK version

Love Island USA viewers have claimed the show is ‘boring’ compared to the UK version.

The second series of the US version of the dating show kicked off in America last month, however it only came to UK screens this week.

However it seems like fans are missing the UK version, which was cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Many have taken to Twitter to claim the American version doesn’t compare to the British one as they watched the show on ITV2.

One moaned: “Just need some drama I keep zoning out #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUSA.”

While another added: “The people on #LoveIslandUSA seem really boring so far?”

A third asked: “Is it just me or is #LoveIslandUSA boring? The UK one is SOOOO messy! That’s what I LIVED for!”

The US version of the show sees sexy singletons look for love at swanky Las Vegas rooftop hotel The Cromwell, complete with panoramic views of the city.

Host Arielle Vandenberg is back to present the second series.

And fans will be happy to hear she says there will be much more “dirt and juice” compared to the first season.

Speaking to Daily Star Online about what fans can expect from the new series, actress and model Arielle, 33, said: “It feels very very different compared to last year.

“It was our first series last year and I feel people weren’t putting themselves out there like they are this season.

“There is way more dirt and juice. It’s already crazy and there is a lot more drama to come.

“Everyone is like making out in the first episode, that’s when you know it’s going to be good.”

Love Island USA airs nightly on ITV2 at 9pm
