Loose Women presenter Stacey Solomon has spoken about how her romance with Joe Swash has been affected by the lockdown after fans feared they had secretly split up when she announced she was coming off social media for “personal reasons”.
Luckily, Stacey shut the speculation down as she insisted they were still together, and later went onto the ITV show to discuss their relationship during the coronavirus lockdown.
She revealed that there had been a few romantic moments during the lockdown, as she told Ruth Langsford: “We have to make sure that we try – at least once a week – to spend a couple of hours just us.
“Get the kids in bed early and just talk to each other because the reality is the rest of the week, we’re arguing with each other or moaning at the kids or cooking or cleaning.
“Although we’re together constantly, we’re not together because we have to split our time so much.”

She also admitted she couldn’t stop herself making comments at Joe when he annoyed her, which Jane Moore branded “passive aggressive”.
Earlier this week, Stacey told her followers she needed a break from social media because there was “lots going on at home”.
She was then forced to return to social media to confirm she and Joe hadn’t split after fans shared their concerns.

Sharing a picture of herself and Joe holding hands, she wrote: “Personal reasons’ isn’t code for divorce (we aren’t married but you know what I mean) it just means some things are happening in our lives personally at the moment.”
Stacey once again proved all was well between them yesterday as she shared a video of Joe washing the windows while holding their baby son Rex.
She filmed him as she said: “There he is again, trying to get me pregnant.”
Stacey giggled and added: “He’s got a new assistant.”
Stacey then played the song I Just Want To Make Love To You – the Diet Coke man’s soundtrack – as she showed him soaping up the windows before wiping them clean.
Loose Women continues on Monday at 12.30pm on ITV.
