In her second appearance at a Californian court within a month, pop-icon Britney Spears broke down while describing her father’s conservatorship as “f*****g cruelty”.
The 39-year-old is continuing in her legal bid to strike her father, Jamie Spears, from her conservatorship which is used to oversee her private life, finances and career since 2008.
In the highly-charged court appearance on Wednesday, Britney spoke by phone to the court and demanded her father be charged with “conservatorship abuse”.
Adding to the already worrying list of complaints against her conservatorship the mum-of-two alleged her hair vitamins and coffee had been taken from her.
“Mam, that’s not abuse, that’s just f*****g cruelty,” Britney told Judge Brenda Penny in court. “Excuse my language but it’s the truth.”
Britney told the court that she wants her father removed from the conservatorship and legal arrangement terminated, without the need for a medical assessment.
The singer did however indicate as a first step she would want to see her father removed while allowing the co-conservator Jodi Montgomery to remain.
She said: “My dad needs to be removed today and I will be happy with Jodi helping me.”
It is also understood that Britney may now select her own legal team to represent her after the US judge ruled in her favour.
Previously the Grammy-winning artist was only able to rely on a court-approved representative.
The impressive Hollywood lawyer, Mathew S. Rosengart, was present in court for the hearing, but Britney’s father will have to approve Rosengart’s appointment

The hot-shot lawyer, who has represented Steven Spielberg and Ben Affleck, will argue it is her constitutional right to select her lawyer.
A source told TMZ: “He’ll argue it’s absurd for Jamie Spears to have the power to disapprove Britney’s choice, because the very purpose of the representation is to get him out.”
Three weeks ago Britney made a dramatic half-an-hour speech to a court as she battled to have the conservatorship terminated.
Britney said she wanted to ‘sue my family for what they have done to me’ when talking about the 13-year long conservatorship.
One of the most shocking revelations included Britney telling the court that she had an IUD implanted against her will for birth control.
Britney’s request to suspend her father from the conservatorship and appoint a trust as the sole conservator was denied by the judge.
