Katie Price shares unseen snaps in heartwarming birthday tribute to son Harvey

Katie Price has paid a sweet tribute to her son Harvey on his 19th birthday.

The 43-year-old former glamour model logged into her official Instagram account on Thursday to celebrate her eldest child turning another year older.

She penned: “Happy Birthday to my absolute world Harvey on his 19th birthday!

“No matter what situation I’ve been in he has been there for me and kept me going, we are a team I love you so much Harvey.”

Alongside the heartfelt words, Katie shared a 44-second video montage featuring several never-before-seen snaps from the family album showing Harvey growing from a boy to a man.

The first snap shown in the is clip is a fresh-faced Katie holding newborn baby Harvey close to her chest as he slept peacefully 19 years ago.

The teen has multiple disabilities including blindness and ADHD and also has an excessive appetite caused by genetic condition ­Prader-Willi Syndrome.

Siblings Junior, 15, Princess,13, Jett, seven and six-year-old Bunny also feature in the video as well as Katie’s mum Amy.

Unsurprisingly, the reality star’s latest social media post caught the attention of her 2.6 million followers.

A majority of Katie’s fans rushed to leave a sweet message for Harvey in the comment section.

One fan gushed: “Gorgeous boy, Happy birthday Harvey.”

Another added: “Why am I crying at this? Lovely words darling. Happy birthday handsome Harvey. Have the best day.”

A third person posted: “Beautiful boy and an unbreakable bond.”

While a fourth social media user penned: “He is a credit to you – you are a brilliant mum.”

The birthday boy himself also commented with five green heart emojis on his mum’s post.

Harvey’s dad is former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke.

The Page 3 icon became pregnant with Harvey, who was born on May 27 2002, while briefly dating the Premier League footballer.

Their relationship was short-lived, as Dwight reportedly cheated on Katie while she was 14 weeks pregnant.

He initially denied he was little Harvey’s father and demanded a paternity test.

Katie took a DNA test to confirm her ex Dwight was Harvey’s dad.

Dwight did turn up at the hospital to visit his son after he was born but, sadly, he later decided he didn’t want to be a part of Harvey’s life.

Sadly for Harvey, he and his dad have virtually no contact now.

Katie claims that Dwight struggles to accept Harvey’s disabilities and health battles.

During a 2009 interview with Sky News’ Kay Burley, Dwight said his lack of contact with Harvey was due to “a combination of different things”.

Katie has made dozens of public pleas to Dwight Yorke about their shared son Harvey.

She insists it’s “never too late” for the sportsman to be in Harvey’s life.

In November 2018, Katie shared a series of baby pics and told Dwight the “door is always open”.

A year later, she wrote on social media: “Anyone who knows Dwight Yorke, please get him to contact his son.

“Harvey doesn’t deserve this, he sees his other son Tiger, so I don’t understand!

“He does charity work for different kids charities, yet doesn’t see or support his own son.”

Peter Andre, the father of Princess of Junior, helped ex-wife Katie raise Harvey from when he was a baby and said he always considered him as his own.

In fact, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker hoped to adopt Harvey but Dwight reportedly refused to allow it.

Katie is now engaged to former Love Island star Carl Woods after being introduced by mutual friends last year.

Essex car salesman Carl, 32, often shares hilarious videos of Harvey on social media, proving they have a strong bond.
