Lorraine Kelly was left red-faced on Thursday after ITV accidentally aired a private chat from her studio in a major tech fail.
The TV host tried to laugh off the awkward fail to Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway – apologising over and over as she chuckled away.
As Susanna cut to Lorraine for the star to tell viewers what was coming up on her programme, Susanna beamed away before her smile quickly fell to bemusement.
Rather than the Scottish host greeting her, the camera feed appeared dead.
However, Lorraine could be heard as if enjoying a game in her studio.
Lorraine could be heard saying: “See if they both get two right, which they very well could do…
“Where is she? Have we got a tiebreaker.”
Looking stunning Susanna said: “Where is Lorraine? We can hear her.”
Meanwhile, co-host Kate chimed in: “It sounds as if she is playing some kind of parlour game in her studio and having a bit of fun.”
Luckily the camera cut in and Lorraine was back sat in her usual chair waving away in fits of laughter.
“Lorraine is this how you occupy your time while we are banging on?” Kate teased.
“We were doing… we have got a really funny quiz coming up,” Lorraine laughed before adding: “I’m sorry, that was really naughty. I am so sorry.”
Chuckling, Susanna added: “Sounds like there is a party in your studio Lorraine. If it wasn’t for social distancing I would be down.”
Trying to get things back on track, a still amused Lorraine replied: “Well we have got the podcasters from the Free Britney movement and we have got the finalists of the Drag Race UK.
“That is what we were doing as we have got a lot of silly things. I am so sorry girls that’s really bad.”
Seeing the funny side, Susanna said: “Lorraine it could be worse.”
Good Morning Britain has had a tough couple of weeks after Piers Morgan sensationally quit the show.
The outspoken star refused to apologise for saying he didn’t believe a word Meghan Markle said during her two hour exposé with Oprah Winfrey.
As Ofcom recorded thousands of complaints, including one from the Duchess of Sussex herself, ITV tried to calm the storm by asking Piers to retract his comments.
However, the move only made Piers more angry and he’s since stood by his decision – arguing he is fighting for free speech.
