Malin Andersson has announced she is pregnant with boyfriend Jared, two years after the tragic death of her baby girl Consy.
Posting to Instagram, the Love Island star posted a black-and-white snap of her growing baby bump, with Jared’s arms snugly around her.
Malin wrote alongside the post: “My next chapter. My new beginning. My happy ending. My entire universe. All mine.
“I can’t describe to you all how I feel writing this.
“Everything I’ve ever wanted, everything I visualised. A solid partner in my life, who has been there in the background – witnessed my life over the past 4 years and has stuck by me as a friend… and now a lover.
“This couldn’t feel any more right – and we’re now bringing a beautiful soul into this world.
“My heart feels electric writing this, my eyes tearing up.. because I can promise you all there was once upon a time I never thought I could experience this. I was wrong.
“It just wasn’t the right time. All the pain I’ve endured has led to this very moment.. my own little family,” she continued.
“Mumma – I know you’re looking down with bright eyes and a big smile. Baby Consy – protect us from above.
“This is us now.”
Fans quickly rushed to the comments section to congratulate Malin on her announcement, with one posting: “Massive congratulations!”
“Congratulations beautiful!” someone else said, as a third fan echoed: “Oh my gosh! So happy for you two!”
Malin is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Jared, after recently going public with their relationship.
She said she was keen to keep the romance private, but explained things turned serious between them after a five-year friendship, describing Jared as “not just my best friend but my love, too.”
Speaking about their relationship, Malin gushed: “I’ve known him for 5 years and we have always been friends, and also in and out of each other’s lives… he’s also been the one that’s got away… but he’s here to stay and I couldn’t be more content and at peace.
“It’s weird how it’s all worked out as the ones that care for you the most, you tend to push away… but timing has been everything in this.”
It comes two years after the tragic death of Malin’s baby daughter Consy, just four weeks after her birth in December 2018.
Malin announced in April this year that she had once again fallen pregnant – but devastatingly suffered a miscarriage shortly after.
Speaking about her loss in March last year, Malin said: “I’ve struggled to find any positive in not even being able to hold my baby daughter this Mother’s Day.
“People always say ‘you’re still a mum, you always will be’ but, in my eyes, I need her here or that to be true. I need her here with me, where she belongs.”
