Piers Morgan makes savage dig at Demi Lovato as they come out as non-binary

Piers Morgan has taken a swipe at Demi Lovato after they announced they were coming out as non-binary.

He took to Twitter to mock the singer, writing a sarcastic “coming out” of his own.

He said: “Some personal news: I am proud to let you know that I identify as an annoying attention-seeking celebrity.

“This has come after a lot of self-reflective work but it’s my truth & lived experience.”

This is not the first time the former GMB presenter has blasted the singer.

After Demi criticised a froyo company for promoting ‘diet culture’ by stocking sugar-free options, Piers labelled Demi “repulsively arrogant” and “stupendously dumb”.

He said: “The more this repulsively arrogant woman attacked this lovely little store in her staggeringly unhinged and delusional manner, the more furious I became.

“How dare she try to destroy The Big Chill simply for doing its job, one that it does very well to widespread popular acclaim?

“Who the hell does Demi Lovato think she is?”

He added: “Demi Lovato set out to shame The Bigg Chill but all she did was shame herself.

“And that should act as a much-needed ‘trigger’ warning to all other self-absorbed whiny celebrity virtue-signalling woke twerps.”

28-year-old Demi made a video on Wednesday coming out as gender-nonconforming after spending a lifetime “living for those on the other side of the cameras”.

Captioning the brave video, they announced: “Today is a day I’m so happy to share more of my life with you all – I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary & will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward.

“This has come after a lot of healing & self-reflective work. I’m still learning & coming into myself, & I don’t claim to be an expert or a spokesperson. Sharing this with you now opens another level of vulnerability for me.

“I’m doing this for those out there that haven’t been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones. Please keep living in your truths & know I am sending so much love your way xox.”
