Ant and Dec drag Britain's Got Talent contestant off stage in jaw-dropping first look

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were seemingly taking no nonsense when it came to antics on the stage as a new teaser clip for Britain’s Got Talent is unveiled.

The dynamic duo, both aged 46, were caught on camera literally removing a women by her ankles as she lay on her back as they dragged her off of the stage.

Whatever was going on, didn’t seem to impress judge Amanda Holden, 51, who was caught whopping her red buzzer just moments later.

Other aspects of the trailer showcased what an epic series fans are in store for as the long awaited ITV programme makes a comeback on Saturday April 16.

Simon Cowell’s talent scout show was taken off air last year after BGT bosses concluded there was no safe way to conduct the audition stages safely during the third COVID-19 lockdown.

In the first glance video the show appeared to be coming back with a bang – with all judges in high spirits.

Amanda, Simon, Alesha Dixon and funnyman David Walliams were all back on fine form as they enjoyed watching a number of frightful but brilliant performances on the live stage.

Last week, Ant and Dec delighted fans as they confirmed from the BGT account that the programme would be hitting screens this coming Saturday.

The post read: “You’re going to want to hear this… BGT IS BACK ON SATURDAY THE 16th APRIL! Join us on @ITV and @WeAreSTV1 where our search for talent begins.”

In the hilarious video montage, Dec says: “It’s been such a long time since Britain’s Got Talent’s been on our screens,” as tears can be seen streaming from Alesha’s face.

Ant turned to his co-star to offer up a “tissue,” as the sad song violins played in the background.

“Thanks” chimed Dec as Amanda was also shown crying while Simon appeared to wait in angst.

Continuing, Ant went on: “But what we’re about to tell you…. no, no, no, no it’s very exciting new!

“BGT is back on the 16th April,” exclaimed Dec as the entire judging panel and audience are shown erupting into cheers.

Britain’s Got Talent will return to screens this Saturday (April 16) on ITV from 8pm.
