Carol Vorderman, 61, sizzles in low-cut red dress as she shows off her ageless beauty

Carol Vorderman dressed to impress as she attended a special menopause rally at Westminster.

The former Countdown star 61, donned a low-cut red dress for the event on Tuesday (October 18) and shared snaps on her Instagram page.

She stood out from the crowd in the figure-hugging brightly-coloured garment, which featured long sleeves and a low square neckline.

Carol left her blonde hair in loose waves and wore a silver necklace and black heels to finish off her look.

She took to her Instagram Stories on World Menopause Day to write: “I’m on my way to the Houses of Parliament to join a rallying cry.”

The former I’m A Celebrity contestant tagged the Menopause Mandate Instagram account – which has organised the event.

She previously said her dark moods hit so hard some days she could not get out of bed or make basic decisions.

Carol even compared it to the grief she suffered after the death of her beloved Countdown co-host Richard Whiteley back in 2005.

For the last six months of 2015, she told how she found herself in a deep depression after beginning to experience menopause symptoms in the summer.

Welsh beauty Carol said: “Had I been in different circumstances, I could understand why people take their lives — because you can’t think of a way out.

“I couldn’t see the point of going on sometimes. It was a horrible place to be. I’ve been struck by grief, and experienced bad times. But this was different.”

Carol spent six months suffering in silence, before she said the “penny dropped” just after Christmas 2015 as she realised that her lows were linked to her time of the month.
