Coronation Street spoilers: Abi death fears, surprise return and murder twist

Coronation Street favourite Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) finds herself in danger next week as she spirals out of control.

The mechanic orders more drugs as she struggles with her late son Seb’s birthday.

Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) return from holiday, confiding in Debbie (Sue Devaney) Kevin says he wants to talk to Abi and hopes they can patch things up.

However, after returning home, he finds Abi and her dodgy pal Dean cosy on the sofa, high on drugs and alcohol.

Kevin orders Abi to pack her things and get out. While she’s in the bathroom, Dean steals Kevin’s garage keys.

Abi races over to the garage to find Dean revving a customer’s car.

As Abi doubles over in pain, Dean stops the car. She crouches by the side of the road in agony, but to Abi’s horror, Dean leaps back in

Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) opens up the garage and is shocked to find a customer’s car has been stolen.

As Abi packs her stuff from No13 frantically, Tyrone calls, telling her that if they don’t retrieve the stolen car, the business is finished.

Elsewhere, when Gary Windass (Mikey North) questions Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) as to where she was until the early hours, she makes out she was running as it helps her to relax.

Maria’s furious when Kelly fails to turn up for work and Simon realises it’s time to tell Gary and Maria the truth.

As Kelly tends to her mum, they’re interrupted by Gary.

Daisy’s unnerved and quickly lies to Nicky, making out Daniel has moved down south, before deleting a voicemail message on his phone from Nicky.

Nicky finds Daniel at school and reveals she got fed up with Lytham, decided to return to Weatherfield and has applied for a teaching assistant role.

Daniel’s delighted and agrees to meet for a drink.
