EastEnders' Max Bowden poses with stunning rarely-seen girlfriend on romantic getaway

EastEnders star Max Bowden has shared a rare loved-up snap with his girlfriend as the pair enjoyed a romantic getaway.

The 27-year-old actor cosied up to blonde beauty Roisin Buckle as they escaped for an intimate weekend at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire.

Max, who plays Ben Mitchell in the popular BBC One soap, looked dapper in a black polo neck sweatshirt, smiled for the cameras with his arm around the 36-year-old who stunned in a black top and beige trousers.

“Country getaway,” Max captioned post, which saw them both shooting a stare and sultry pout towards the camera as they enjoyed a glass of wine.

Fans flooded the comments to gush over the couples photo, with one saying: ‘Beautiful couple, Love you,” followed by a heart emoji.

And another wrote: “Enjoy ur weekend getaway, enjoy the perfect moment together xx”

It comes weeks after Max and Roisin cosied up for a selfie as the star celebrated his birthday after a difficult year.

Max announced his split from his long-term girlfriend Danielle McCarney in April last year, and was recently devastated by the loss of three friends.

In June, Max announced his friend Luke Goodings had passed away and another friend, Terry Mills, died in February.

Max took to Instagram to thank Maxwell for being ‘his best friend for 15 years’.

He did not specify how his friend died, but wrote: ‘The hole in my life you have left will never ever be filled.’

Taking to his Instagram Story, the actor recently shared a photo of a handwritten note he’d received from the EastEnders crew offering their support for him during his time of need.

The sweet message read: “Hey Max, just wanted to say we know you’re not great at the moment, but we are always here if you need a rant or a cry.

“Keep doing your best because we think you’re great.”

It was signed from Annie, Inca, Becky, and Meg from EastEnders’ costume department.
