Emmerdale fans are convinced Kerry will discover a sordid affair between boyfriend Al and teen Belle after Chas stirred the pot on her suspicions
As the gobby mum voiced her concerns about their close working relationship with pal Chas during Tuesday’s episode (April 19), her suspicions only deepened after Chas warned her that Al probably has an ulterior motive.
After planting more seeds of doubt in Kerry’s mind by explaining that Belle is a beautiful young single girl, Kerry rushed home to find the pair on the sofa buried in work documents.
Al then informed Kerry that he is headed out with Belle to continue working, much to the dismay of Kerry who is furious that he is cancelling dinner plans.
Fans immediately took to social media to express their concerns, convinced he is having an affair with his attractive colleague.
“Is Kerry really that dense… Al is loyal to no-one but himself. Not even his own son #Emmerdale,” tweeted one viewer.
Another blasted: “Al is [definitely] having an affair. Is Al actually trying to make his way through the Dingle women? Debbie, Charity, Chas and now eying up Belle. Watch yourself Mandy #Emmerdale.”
Elsewhere on the episode, Marlon was left gutted when the consultant told him he is not allowed to go home.
Rhona clashed with Mary who claimed she doesn’t think her daughter can cope when he does finally come home – and informed her daughter that the impact on the kids will be huge.
Mary suggested Rhona and Marlon should separate and Rhona furiously kicked her out of her house.
Emmerdale viewers recently saw evil Meena Jutla bow out of Emmerdale after she was sentenced to life in prison for her catalogue of crimes.
Meena was disappointed when none of the locals came to her sentencing hearing. It was Meena’s last chance to be in the limelight, so the cold-blooded killer was furious.
However, Manpreet did appear at the last minute, needing to witness her sister’s final fate.
Viewers saw Meena sentenced to life in prison for her three murders – meaning she will remain in custody for the rest of her natural life.
With viewers calling for months for Meena to pay for what she had done, many thought this was her perfect finale for the killer character.
“Such a powerful episode, with some stellar acting from Paige,” said one. While another added, “Great ending to the Meena storyline. And could we please have more of Manpreet striding purposefully through corridors?”
Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7:30pm on ITV.
