Holly Willoughby has revealed that there’s one part of Dancing on Ice that she ‘absolutely hates’.
The Dancing on Ice host admitted there’s one dangerous ice skating move that she simply can’t “bear” to see – despite presenting the ITV show.
In fact, the stunning This Morning star hates it so much that she refuses to watch it live and has to watch it back later on TV.
The hit ITV ice skating show, which is hosted by Holly and her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield, is set to return to screens for its fourteenth series this month.
When asked about what skating move she looks forward to seeing, Holly said she loves a move called the Roll Up – but despises the Head-banger.

Holly said: “Instantly my head went headbanger but I don’t. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. I can’t bear it.
“I end up watching it back afterwards. I’ve never watched one live. I will not do it.
“One of the worst moments was when somebody did it in the skate off last year and Phil and I now stand rink side because normally I’m off set and I was like ‘oh I’m just standing here and they are doing it right in front of me.’
“I love it when the skaters do a move called a Roll Up, I think because in my head I’m thinking they can pick me up and do that.”

Phil spoke about Holly’s fear of the Head-banger move, and apparently she watches nervously “behind her hands” when the stars take to the ice rink to perform their stunts.
When asked if he ever watches routines through his fingers, he said: “Holly more so than me, she is often behind her hands but I think at least one of us should be watching.
“Holly doesn’t like the Head-bangers at all, she absolutely hates them, but I’m the sort of person who loves a rollercoaster.

“I like the thrill of being a bit scared and you know it’s not my head that’s spinning around. You always want it to work and you always want them to be OK, we never ever want anybody to hurt themselves.
“It’s fine if they fall over, that’s great we all love a trip here and there but obviously you never want anybody to hurt themselves.”
This year’s star-studded line-up includes Love Island alum Liberty Poole, Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays star Bez and former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens.
Last year, Capital FM presenter Sonny Jay won the ITV series – which was plagued by Covid difficulties and forced breaks from the air.
