Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have reportedly told pals they do not want a big wedding – instead opting for a more casual affair with just close family and friends in attendance
The news comes after Kourtney and Travis got “fake married” in Las Vegas after the Grammy Awards earlier this month.
Though the loved-up pair said their vows and had a ring ceremony, the marriage is not technically legal as they could not get a licence in time.
However they did have an Elvis impersonator officiant and it took place at the famed One Love Wedding Chapel.
Sister Kim Kardashian joked the event occurred after “a lot of alcohol”.
A source has told PEOPLE magazine though that Kourtney, 43, and the Blink-182 drummer don’t want a circus when they tie the knot for real.
The source said: “They don’t want a big wedding.
“They want an intimate ceremony and party for family and close friends. Kourtney’s family wants to be a part of it.”
However, the Kardashians still want to throw Kourtney a hen do and a bridal shower said the source.
They added: “No one wants her to do a quickie Las Vegas wedding.”
Meanwhile, the Elvis impersonator, Dean Diamond, who did the ceremony almost said no when he got a late-night call about a couple wanting to get married.
He changed his mind though when he found out who they were and were prepared to offer more money.
He told The Sun: “He wasn’t saying as much as her, but he was speaking with his eyes, the way he was looking at her like, ‘Wow, I get to marry you.’”
Diamond, 69, also confirmed that Kourtney and Travis, 46, had been boozing but said their speeches were “clear”.
He added: “When two hearts are joined together in holy matrimony and when they really love each other, to me, it’s a marriage. And in the old days they didn’t have paperwork.”
