Lorraine Kelly fumes 'we've seen enough' of Matt Hancock amid shock I'm A Celeb exit

Lorraine Kelly rips into Matt Hancock’s I’m A Celebrity stint and says she’s “disappointed” about how his strategy has “worked”.

During a segment of her ITV breakfast show, Lorraine and co-star Rishi Duvda delved deep into the recent episode, which saw A Place In The Sun’s Scarlette Douglas kicked out of the camp.

Lorraine didn’t hold back on her opinions on some campmates, especially Matt, after being “shocked” about the MP being placed high in bookies’ favourites to win the show.

To Rishi’s comment, “Matt Hancock’s in fourth,” Lorraine chimed in with: “He’s up there, isn’t he? His strategy, it’s worked for him. Bizarrely, weirdly, kind’ve disappointingly.”

Dishing the dirt on Matt’s jungle antics, Lorraine and Rishi poked fun at Matt’s hilarious dancing moves too, saying: “I think we’ve seen enough of that.”

It comes a few weeks after Lorraine recently expressed how “fed up” she was seeing the politician dominating the hour-long programme, and now she hopes Matt will get the boot.

Lorraine also ripped into the politician during a recent appearance speaking to Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley.

She asked the ITV duo: “Are we fed up with the Matt Hancock show a little bit?”

As she nodded to suggest she was, she added of the trials: “Also give other people a wee chance.”

She later repeated the comments while rolling her eyes after discussing him becoming Camp Leader.

However, the beloved host wouldn’t mind having a sit-down with Hancock in the near future.

She enthused: “I totally would. I think he would be great, I don’t know whether he would come on or not, but he’s got an invite if he wants to come on. I never say never to anybody.”

In other jungle-related news, Scarlette Douglas has become the second star to be eliminated.

In her exit interview, Scarlette spoke about being a ‘team player” and how she loved to “keep busy’ in camp.

Scarlette also admitted she has “surprised” herself with how much she took to jungle life and got to grips with the trials.
