It’s time for pantomime season – oh no it isn’t…oh yes it is!
Friends and families across the country descend on theatres every year, to watch some of the UK’s biggest celebrities take to the stage to retell classic stories including Cinderella, Aladdin and Dick Whittington – to name a few.
However among the songs and the magic of the theatre, there have also been plenty of cheeky jokes for the adults in the audience.

As the shows continue to enchant audiences, Daily Star takes a look at celebrities’ raciest pantomime moments.
Neil Morrissey’s double entendre
Hot on the heels of his success in Men Behaving Badly, Neil Morrissey took to the stage in the lead role for Jack and The Beanstalk in 1998.
Starring opposite comedy legend Adrian Edmondson and musical theatre star Denise Van Outen, Neil showcased his musical theatre abilities when he joined Denise in a duet as lovers Jack and Jill.
However, the duet came with some naughty moments as Jack and Jill declared their love for one another, with the characters singing about their predicament of not being allowed to be together.
As Jack wrapped his arms around Jill, she sang the words “it’s getting harder to resist” about the struggles of not being with one another.
However, Neil’s character made a naughty joke as he looked towards the audience in this moment, by saying “it’s getting harder” in a cheeky double entendre that led to roars of laughter from the crowd.
Martin Clunes hip wiggle
Two years after his Men Behaving Badly counterpart treaded the boards in Jack and The Beanstalk, it was Martin Clunes’ turn as he took on the role of a hilarious villain in Aladdin.
Taking to the stage for the production at the New Wimbledon Theatre, London in 2000, Martin’s evil wizard Abanazer attempted to find Aladdin, in the hopes that he could lead him to The Genie of the Lamp.
However, one of his scenes came with a cheeky joke or two, after laundry owner Aladdin offered to “wash his pants,” as a thank you for rescuing him.
Abanazer then told Aladdin, “I don’t wear any”, before actor Martin wiggled his hips, while a high-pitched jingling sound rang across the theatre.
His character was not best pleased with the sound however, as Abanazer asked for something “a little bit deeper”.
Martin left the audience laughing as a deeper jingling noise rang out across theatre, while he shook his hips once more.
Amanda Holden “ripping off her dress”
Amanda Holden rose to fame as an actress before becoming a radio presenter and Britain’s Got Talent judge, and the star has made a return to the stage in recent years.
In 2016, Amanda played the Fairy Godmother in a pantomime of Cinderella, and speaking on This Morning, she made a cheeky confession about the role.
Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, the TV personality told the hosts that the show has “something for the dads,” before admitting that her outfit would be ripped off during one scene.
“My dress gets ripped off and I do a tap dance in the middle!” said Amanda.
She also admitted her character would bring a bit of magic by flying in the production, before saying: “I don’t know if I should say that.”
Ben Miller’s tiny shorts
Comedy duo Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller donned a eye-watering amount of neon coloured lycra for their roles as Prince Charming and Dandini in the 2000 production of Cinderella at the New Wimbledon Theatre, London.
One scene saw the duo jogging in the woods, as Alexander’s Prince Charming shared his dream to find his one true love, ahead of a ball at the palace that evening.
His lament was followed by words of wisdom from Ben Miller, who then ferociously slapped his thighs while wearing a pair of tiny lycra shorts that left nothing to the imagination.
The saucy thigh slapping appeared to become a theme throughout the pantomime too, with a mix of whistles of delight and laughter coming from both the cast on stage and the audience as the intensity of the gesture grew from scene to scene.
Tina O’Brien sexy panto outfit
Coronation Street Sarah Platt icon Tina O’Brien made an appearance in one of the famous ITV pantomimes at the New Wimbledon Theatre, London when she starred in the 2002 production of Dick Whittington.
Tina starred in the second half of the production as a Maid, where she could be seen lounging on a giant throne wearing a miniscule bikini top that showed off her toned abs and fabulous figure.
With her brown locks flowing past her shoulders, the sexy number was a far cry from her outfits as Sarah Platt, with the jaw-dropping outfit finished with a pop of pink lipstick and smoky eyes for an extra sizzle.
