On whether he’d ever do Strictly, Rylan told The Daily Mirror that the “only way” to get him on the show is to involve with hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly in the competition.
“I don’t think it would be fair if I went on Strictly now that I’m a host,” he said.
Rylan continued: “But there is always chatter of a Christmas special with me, Zoe Ball, Tess Daly, Claudia Winkleman and Gethin Jones.
“That is the only way you would get me on the dance floor”, he teased.
Rylan was originally co-presenting It Takes Two with Zoe Ball, but this year, Janette has taken her place.
The former singer has grown his own fan base since working on the show, with viewers loving his chats with contestants in he spin-off.
One took to Twitter to praise the presenter, writing: “Rylan is fabulous on ITT”.
Another added: “I’m sooo happy for Rylan, he’s perfect for #strictly and his the most amazing fun loving happy funny sweet man”.
Embracing the wonder of Blackpool week, Rylan wore a sparkly suit jacket and black jeans as he share his excitement for the show’s return to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Strictly had broken their Blackpool tradition for two years due to Covid, but this year’s celebrity contestants, including Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh and singer Fleur East are set to welcome the show back to it’s northern venue.
