Victoria Beckham slammed by fans after promoting £650 bag as 'must-have' item

Victoria Beckham wasted no time showcasing her incredible figure as she promoted a range of bags which are her new “must-haves” for the Christmas period.

The former Spice Girls star, 48, took to Instagram on Monday and posed for a duo of snaps wearing a skintight all in one consisting of turtle neck top and slim-fit leggings.

Highlighting her lithe legs and tiny waist, the fashion designer worked her best angles for the mirror selfies and added height to her frame with a pair of green matching heels.

Victoria let her locks cascade over her shoulders and sported light lashings of makeup to accentuate her natural beauty.

The purpose of the sizzling snaps was to showcase a selection of handbags from her fashion line which came in green, fuchsia and silver and all had gold chains across the front.

Alongside the two shots, she penned: “My new MUST-HAVE bag for the holiday season! The fun size Mini Chain Pouch is super practical and tactile, and I love styling the candy coloured shades.”

“Who doesn’t love a touch of metallic at this time of year!! Perfect for the holiday season” she added before linking to her website.

But while many fans were swooning over the star, others took to the comments to point out the bags weren’t in their price range at £650 each.

“Wouldn’t pay £650 for one when you can easily get one similar so much cheaper,” commented one user.

Another fumed: “MUST-HAVE?? No, it’s luxury! How about using your influence to encourage recycling & reusing & revamping!”

“Outrageous price” echoed someone else as another simply stated: “Cost of living crisis???”

While a fifth wrote: “Why not bring the prices down so every day folk like myself can afford to buy? You have beautiful items but unfortunately I will never be able to own any.”
