Hot off the heels of their amazing British Soap Award win, Heather chatted to the Daily Star about her relationship with her fellow cast members, claiming she is truly “blessed.”

As well as picking up the coveted gong for Best Soap, EastEnders triumphed in the Best Leading Performer battle, which was won by Danielle Harold after her heartbreaking performances as Lola Pearce-Brown.
Heather is known for her dramatic scenes with secret lover Suki, but she opened up about her relationship with other members of the cast, such as sidekick Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Freddie Slater, played by Bobby Brazier.
Speaking of some of their more light-hearted comical scenes, Eve said: “Freddie and I are very close. If you get someone who’s your absolute bestie.
“I’m blessed and when me and Lacey when we’re together it’s gunna be the best day.
“But all the Slaters we have a laugh and Bobby Brazier is one of the kindest souls.
“A beautiful human inside and out.”
Speaking further about her dramatic love triangle with Suki and Nish, Heather told the Daily Star that Eve could become “more brutal” as the weeks progress, following her failed plot to get Nish banged up and run away with Suki.
“Could eve become more brutal? Yes she has an edge, she snaps. Shes ferociously protective of ppl she loves and will go to any lengths.
“Eve is not afraid to step that line. She also has a propensity to drink too much and just be quite self-destructive.
“Being with Stacey and the slaters is keeping her level but left to her own devices she can spiral.”
With fans not knowing what the future holds for the pair, Heather claimed Suki is the “love of her life”and they will always be dragged back together.
“I think the way these two are it’s not that it’s irresistible, it’s such a meeting of souls.”
“She’s always going to be dragged back in because it’s the love of her life.
“No matter how hard they tried they can’t keep apart.”
