Tonight’s Emmerdale (April 14) featured the follow-up to Charity Dingle’s jaw-dropping hair disaster, leaving fans in shock just days before her wedding to Mackenzie Boyd.
The bride-to-be sought a fresh new look for her special day during Thursday’s episode, visiting Mandy Dingle’s salon with high hopes.
Unfortunately, what transpired was a hair nightmare that will be etched in viewers’ minds for a long time.

Mandy found herself embroiled in the midst of some juicy drama involving Paddy Kirk and Chas Dingle, causing her to leave Charity’s hair in rollers for too long and use the wrong products.
The disastrous result was an enormous perm that left Charity looking like a “demented poodle.”

Fans couldn’t contain their reactions to Charity’s hair fiasco, with one tweeting: “Can’t cope with Charity’s hair.”
Another viewer quipped: “Surprised the announcer didn’t say, ‘viewers may find some scenes upsetting’ before Emmerdale started… he’d have been referring to Charity’s disaster hairdo.”
The hair debacle led to a tense confrontation between Charity and Mandy, with the former threatening revenge if Mandy didn’t pay to fix the mess she had created.

Tonight’s episode saw Charity finally able to get an appointment and return her hair to its former glory.
But her fiancé Makenzie was distracted for her hair saga after bumping into Chloe at a coffee shop.
He went to drop off a gift for their unborn baby while Charity was at the hairdressers, but Chloe sent him away and told him she was moving back to Scotland and wanted nothing to do with him.

Elsewhere, Amelia was seen sobbing to Samson about finding a lump on her breast, admitting that she was delaying going to the hospital.
He told her that she was being selfish by delaying getting the lump checked as it could leave their child without a mother.
Amelia later was told she needed a biopsy and she broke down after discovering she had to wait a full week for the results, fearing she has cancer.
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
