Helen Skelton fumes ‘calm down’ at co-star frisking her as she’s forced to halt live TV

Helen Skelton was forced to halt her TV show after she was interrupted by an uninvited guest who “hustled” her live on air.

The TV favourite was back on screens on Tuesday (December 19) for Channel 5’s Christmas on the Farm. Alongside Jules Hudson, the pair hosted the festive programme from Cannon Hall Farm in Yorkshire.

However things took an awkward turn as Helen welcomed viewers to the show. Surrounded by alpacas, one of the animals got a little too close for comfort.

With the alpaca continuing to frisk the blonde beauty, Helen quipped: “It is really hard to enjoy when you are being hustled by an Alpaca! Calm down, Stanley.”

While trying to put the mammal in its place live on air, co-host Jules added: “The animals are tucked up in here and joining us tonight. More obedient than Stanley the alpaca who is being very cheeky. Trying to eat scripts and trying to eat the crew, looking for a Christmas present or maybe looking for a girlfriend.”

Jules also explained that the Llamas had also “savaged” the Channel 5 film crew earlier in the day. Despite the drama, fans were quick to praise Helen online.

Rushing to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “She’s a natural!” Someone else gushed: “You were brilliant, and that dress is amazing.”

A third quipped: “Great show Helen. You and Jules work so well together.” Another viewer penned: “He likes you Helen, fantastic show.”
