However, in a bid to spice up the show, Paul says he has an idea which will certainly get viewers watching at home talking.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press, he revealed: “I would have naked week, be naked all week. Think of the results.

“It’s either great or repulsive, but I would have naked week.”

The 2023 series features the “most diverse cast in the show’s history” and Paul went on to reveal why he thinks MAFS UK is the most important show on the box right now.

He explained: “The inclusiveness is the reason why Married at First Sight UK is the most important show on television in the UK and I’m not just saying that.

“Your not only just seeing the richness of diversity but you sit and invite them into your home and you watch them and their story.

“You watch them fall in love and you say ‘they fall in love like I fall in love’, ‘they have fears like I have fears’ and realise how similar you are and it helps to actually helps strength unity amongst people so that’s why its important.”

Paul admitted that working on the show becomes “very fatiguing” at times and leaves him “drained”.

He added: “The beauty is we [the experts] each do this in our real lives. It’s part of the function.

“The biggest difference is we don’t have 12 hours worth of clients back to back to back to back so because of that it becomes very fatiguing to be part of this project.

“The next day I literally have to block off my day and just lie in bed and I try to re-engergise myself because I’m drained.”
