This Morning host Dermot O’Leary could star on a future series of The Masked Singer.
He’s presented some of the biggest shows on UK television, from The X Factor to ITV’s This Morning – but it appears he now wants to have a pop at being a contestant.
It’s good timing, too, because The Masked Singer has just returned for its latest series with judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan back on the panel.

And his co-host Alison Hammond was forced to admit Dermot can “actually sing”, suggesting he’d do well if he appeared on the series, which sees celebrities sing on stage and dress up in elaborate costumes to conceal their identities.
Mo appeared on Friday’s This Morning (January 20) and revealed he’d like Dermot or Alison to star on The Masked Singer.
He said: “I want to get you two on the show. You’ve got some pipes, Alison, you pretend you can’t sing.”
Alison teased she might be up for it when she replied: “No, it’s not that great! A little bit of training…”
But then the spotlight was on Dermot when Mo told him he’s “got some moves”, which would serve him well on sibling ITV show The Masked Dancer.
Alison then said: “He can sing as well.”
But then when Dermot turned the topic to when Alison actually starred on as special edition of The Masked Singer last year – an I’m A Celeb special which showed her revealed as Witchetty Grub.
Mo then noticed the hosts were trying to push attention onto the other so they weren’t in the hot seat.
He noticed: “I love how you guys are passing it off on each other!”, pretending he was them as he said: “Me? I can’t sing, you can clearly sing.”
Dermot admitted: “Yeah, yeah, yeah!”
