Amanda Holden has opened up on her fears about ‘falling out’ of a sexy outfit she has planned for an upcoming TV appearance – seven years after viewers were less than impressed with a particular choice of dress.

The 53-year-old star recalled a moment from the past during which her risqué outfit brought on hundreds of Ofcom complaints – more than 700 in fact. The lowcut dress, worn during an appearance on Britain’s Got Talent in 2017, prompted a huge amount of complaints from viewers who thought it “unsuitable”.

Now the television personality has a similar fear as she plans to team up with Alan Carr to present this year’s extravaganza at London’s Royal Albert Hall, taking over from Bradley Walsh.

Known for her glitzy but barely there attire, the English media personality, actress and singer has promised this year’s outfit is “definitely glamorous” but admits she’s hoping for no Ofcom complaints this time round, reports The Sun’s TV Mag.

“My outfit is definitely glamorous – hopefully nobody complains to Ofcom,” she said. The infamous £11,000 Julien McDonald dress donned seven years ago showcased her cleavage and had a low cutback.

With the presenter-duo chatting about their upcoming attire, Amanda said they will “both go low” if they get the opportunity to which Alan joked she might not be able to with what she’s wearing.

To which Amanda responded: “Can you imagine if I fell out?” But it wouldn’t be the first time as she recalled an occasion where she accidentally flashed a boob to William Hague, the then leader of the Conservative Party.

“He was chatting away, looking me straight in the eye, and one of my boobs was hanging out,” she said while promising, “Nothing will be falling out at the Royal Variety!”
