BBC Breakfast favourite Nina Warhurst has shared details on a career move that’s a far cry from her usual gig on morning telly.
The TV regular and mum-of-three is joining a star-studded line-up including Tom Hardy, Derek Jacobi, and George Ezra, by narrating the CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
Nina, who’s more familiar to viewers sitting alongside the likes of Charlie Stayt, Jon Kay and Roger Johnson on BBC Breakfast, caught up with Welsh Cbeebies star Rebecca Keatley on set as she geared up to interact with the young crowd, The Sun reports.
Taking along her own children – Digby, Michael and Nancy – Nina took to her Instagram Stories saying: “It was the one and only time they have taken any interest in Mummy’s job.”
She shared photos from the fun-packed day, including one showing the youngsters smiling wide for the camera from the stage, reports the Mirror.
In another cheeky pic, Nancy can be seen perched on the edge of the stage while Nina is busy at work leading her to comment: “What sort of parent allows their baby to stage invade?”
It comes after Nina recently shared details about her husband Ted, who she tied the knot with a year after meeting in Croatia in 2013.
On Sunday’s BBC Breakfast, Nina and her co-host Roger Johnson were chatting about the secrets to a successful marriage, taking a leaf out of Harry and Sandra Redknapp’s book.
It was sparked after Harry shared details in an interview, revealing he gives football and work chat a wide berth at home. I’m A Celeb winner Harry believes keeping his job and home life separate is the magic formula for their decades-long romance.
Nina dished the dirt on her own love life, nodding along that she and her other half stick to a similar playbook. She quipped: “I think lots of partners would say ‘just don’t talk about work’.”
The presenter confessed: “Certainly my husband would.”
BBC Breakfast is on BBC One weekedays at 6am and BBC iPlayer
