Chloe Ayling’s career took an unexpected turn following her 2017 abduction by a Polish computer programmer.
At the time, the then 20-year-old was modelling in London for lawyer Phil Green.
After being released from an Italian farmhouse, she spent the rest of the year awaiting the fate of her kidnappers, brothers Lukasz and Mikal Herba. The duo were initially sentenced to just under 17 years in prison, but this verdict was overturned on appeal in 2021, significantly reducing their jail time.

Finally, Ayling could move forward with her life, and in the summer of 2018, she gained significant television exposure when she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.
She shared the house with Love Island’s Gabby Allen, ex-footballer Jermaine Pennant, soap stars Roxanne Pallett and Ryan Thomas, psychic Sally Morgan, and Married at First Sight UK’s Ben Jardine.
Despite Pennant being married to Alice Goodwin at the time, Jermaine and Ayling engaged in some rather obvious flirtations throughout the series. He never disclosed that he had a wife waiting for him outside the house, reports the Mirror.
“I don’t think he’s mature enough to realise he’s doing wrong but hopefully he will learn,” Ayling told The Sun after her CBB elimination.
During her stint in the celebrity-packed house, she opened up about her kidnapping ordeal from the previous year, providing viewers with a more emotional perspective than what was portrayed in the media. Her memoir, Kidnapped – The Untold Story of My Abduction, hit the bookstores in July 2018.
Following her 13-day stay in the CBB house, Ayling has expanded her modelling career to social media platforms. Her 212,000 Instagram followers are regularly updated on her global photoshoot locations – recent spots include Norway, Poland and the Czech Republic.
She also operates a successful OnlyFans account where fans can pay for uncensored content.
This week, the BBC is set to debut its six-part dramatisation of the Ayling kidnap saga, featuring Tokyo Vice actress Nadia Parkes in the lead role.
All episodes of Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story are now available on BBC iPlayer, with episodes airing from 9pm tonight on BBC Three.
