Christopher Biggins wasn’t bothered about winning when he filmed Cooking With The Stars. The panto legend signed up to compete against a raft of other celebrities on the ITV contest.
But Biggins is not keen on cooking and wasn’t hungry for success once the challenges started.
He told me: “My husband Neil does all the cooking in our house. So when I filmed the show, I wasn’t competitive. I don’t get competitive anymore.

“But everyone else was. They really wanted to do well.”
Biggins was given telly chef Rosemary Shrager as his mentor.
But that didn’t make it easy for him. He said: “It was very stressful. The stuff you have to get done in the time is absolutely horrific. You have to concentrate.
“But we still had a good time. Rosemary is great. We laughed a lot. It was good fun. I think it’ll be a good watch for everyone.”
Other contestants include presenter Carol Vorderman, Olympian Linford Christie, comic Katherine Ryan and
model Abbey Clancy.
And Biggins struck up a chord with many of them.
He said: “We all laughed a lot together. I really got along with Abbey.
“She is my newest best friend. I’m looking forward to spending more time with her.”
It starts later this month on ITV1.
